Living Water

Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve. -- Colossians 3:23-24 (NASB)

Status: Drinking Living Water

I am a freelance writer and journalist for online and print media. I write for various Christian online communities and blogs under the name of Living Water.

I used to serve in many areas of Christian work, including youth ministry and cell group leadership, Bible study and worship leading, gospel event ushering and counseling, new converts follow-up and nurturing, among many other areas. I have previously studied at a Bible seminary under a continuing education program for lay leadership training, and have written articles in church newsletters. Presently, I am serving the Lord through writing online for various Christian communities.

By the way, in case you are wondering what is my real age, let me say, as a practice I do not usually reveal my age at online communities because I've found a person's age to be one of the greatest barriers in communication, resulting from pre-conceived prejudices. If you like, you can think of me as very old or very young. All I can say is I am above 10 and less than 100, so feel free to talk to me anything under the sun.

WHO I'D LIKE TO MEET

I'll like to get to know people and make some friends here, to help those who need a touch from the Lord, to encourage, to identify and share joy and difficulties together, to inspire Christians to grow in the Lord, and to push them on in faith through the words at my blogs.

1 Peter, an

apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia,

Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, 2 Elect according to the

foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto

obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and

peace, be multiplied. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our

Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again

unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the

dead,4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and

that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are

kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in

the last time. 6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a

season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than

of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise

and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom

having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye

rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:9 Receiving

the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.10 Of

which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who

prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:11

Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them

did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the

glory that should follow. 12 Unto whom it was revealed, that

not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now

reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy

Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and

hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation

of Jesus Christ; 14 As obedient children, not fashioning

yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of

conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am

holy. 17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of

persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning

here in fear:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not

redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain

conversation received by tradition from your fathers;19 But

with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without

spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of

the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21

Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him

glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. 22 Seeing ye

have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned

love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart

fervently:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but

of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the

flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth

away:25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this

is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. 1 Peter 1 Have a great weekend God Bless You Love Bill

19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God . John 3

Declaration #1 (Romans 4:17; Romans 10:9,10) These ten basic declarations (confessions) are foundational to the building of your faith. They will increase your expectancy of God's goodness; and, thus, will increase the manifestation of that goodness in your life. Jesus said, "According to your faith, so be it" (Matthew 8:13). Say these (and the other declaration lists) every day for a month and see what happens to your life. It will be exciting!
1. My prayers are powerful and effective (2 Cor 5:21; James 5:16b).
2. God richly supplies all my financial needs (Phil 4:19).
3. I am dead to sin and alive to obeying God (Romans 6:11).
4. I walk in ever-increasing health (Isaiah 53:3-5).
5. I live under a supernatural protection (Ps 91).
6. I prosper in all my relationships (Luke 2:52)
7. I consistently bring God encounters to other people (Mark 16:17,18)
8. Through Jesus I am 100% loved and worthy to receive all of Godís blessings (Gal 3:1-5).
9. Each of my family members is wonderfully blessed and radically loves Jesus (Acts 16:30.31)
10.I uproariously laugh when I hear a lie from the devil (Psalms 2:2-4). Have a wonderful weekend God Bless You Love Bill

So The Lord said to him,What is that in your hand?

(Exodus 4:2)

One thing that stands out about the early followers of Jesus is that they were ordinary men, doing ordinary things – but seeing extraordinary results. One of the most compelling examples of this was when a young boy gave his small lunch to Jesus. What happened next is a miracle still talked about to this day — a multitude was fed with two small fish, and five loaves of bread.

There are five great lessons we learn from this one amazing miracle.

First, never underestimate the Lord’s ability to meet a need. The place was a desert, and the time was late; the people were many, and the need was great. But Jesus not only met the need; He did it with abundance! And He can meet whatever need you are faced with today.

Second, never count yourself out when the Lord starts to work. A man seeing the news about disease, hunger, poverty, and sorrow in the world, turned to his wife and said, "Sometimes I just want to ask God why doesn’t He do something about all of this!" "What’s stopping you from asking Him?" his wife replied. "Because," the man said, "I’m afraid He will ask me the same question!"

Jesus gave the loaves to the disciples, and they gave it to the people. In other words – the miracle happened in their hands, while they were passing the food out to the people. There is a miracle in your hands, too!

Third, never assume that what you have is too insignificant to matter. A boy with a sack lunch containing five loaves and two small fish – that’s all it took. One disciple asked, "But what is this among so many?" It is tragic how many count themselves out simply because they feel they do not measure up to the moment.

Fourth, never think that He will fail to meet your needs while using you to bless others. The Bible says that they did all eat, and were full. As for the disciples, they collected the fragments and filled twelve baskets – one for each of them. Your service to Him will never go unnoticed, nor unanswered.

Finally, never hold on to what the Lord is asking from you. What if the boy had kept his lunch for himself? Well, he would’ve had lunch – and that’s all. But, giving it to the Lord Jesus took that young man into history. And now, Jesus is asking you, "What do you have? Bring it to Me."

History awaits your response Have a wonderful weeend,God Bless You Love Bill
