Freemasonry and following Jesus

Can someone follow the teachings of Freemasonry and follow the teaching of Jesus at the same time?

My ex husband was into freemasonry toward the end of our marriage. He went to the first meeting and said there were things they told him that he wasnt supposed to tell anyone not even his wife. But he assured me that he wouldnt keep any secrets from me. Well it didnt take him long to start doing what he said he wouldnt. This was at a time that he stopped going to church and was keeping up w/the freemasons. He kept all his information and books in a locked breifcase which i found the combo. to and peeked inside. I saw the contents and did my own research. Well I read books of past masons and comparing the books and the rituals are very similar to what witches go through when they are inducted into witchcraft. The way I see it that if you join an organization of brotherhood that if you commit a serious crime they can get you out of it and they strongly urge you not to tell anyone not even the one God has you in covenant with, that theres something wrong. After he joined the masons and all the secrets, our marriage went downhill and within a year or two we were going through divorce and i could see demonic forces workin in him and through him. Maybe you can find someone that has a pure heart that joins the masons but im sure with all the circumstances of the rituals and all God will convict them to get out of it and focus on Him.

I have seen plenty of people that say they are Freemasons here on YCS, I really would like to know your thoughts on this topic. I'm not into Conspiracy theories, I am loking for how do the teachings of Freemasonry and the teachings of the Bible compare.
