Hello everyone,

I thought it was about time that I stepped up to the next level and got a blog going for this group. I have had so much happen in the last two weeks regarding SOCOM, I know I needed to start getting the word out.

So bear with me as I get this up and running the way I know it needs to be.


Well, besides our new page on blogger.com, I was able to post the same message on our home site and myspace.com! So now if you decide to join in and add your own comments, they will be posted on these sites as well.

I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome two new individuals to the SOCOM family.
Bishop Arthur West
Samuel J Hunt

Bishop Arthur West is the pastor for the Reality Church of God out of Richmond, VA. Pastor West has invited SOCOM to speak during their "Faith Walk" series on Sept. 13th. I talked to pastor West by phone and he told me that the basis of the "Faith Walk" was to benefit inter-city children and to help get kids away from gangs. We have gladly excepted, and can't wait to show our support toward this cause! If you would like to participate in this event, their church can be found at 325 Azalea Ave. Across the street from Henrico High School. Once again the event will be held on Sept. 13th at 10:45 am at the Reality Church of God.

Samuel J. Hunt is a published writer and fellow Soldier of Christ who contacted me a few days ago through SOCOM's page on GodTube.com. Samuel hosts a home group study ministry in Franklin, KY every Sunday morning. His group specializes in the science of the Bible, and devotes most of his time toward getting the word out to believers and non-believers alike. His book and group are of the same name EPISTEME SCIENTIA. I highly recommend you visit his website and learn about some of the things God has revealed to our new brother in Christ.
