German cars (mainly Audi and Porsche), cycling (as in bicycling), Frank Lloyd Wright architecture, motorsports (although not NASCAR), movies, concerts, music, travel, etc.
Lately, throwing money out the windows seems to be a hobby of mine. Long story. ;-)

Yes, I own several besides the Bible. ;-)
Recent reads include:
- The Purpose Driven Life (and here I thought it was a car book... it was still a great book!)
- Study book on Revelation (my men's group)
- Bobke II (Diary of an ex pro cyclist)
- The Gold Plated Porsche
- Boot Camp: Discipleship Training For Every Christian (currently in men's group)

I generally go for comedies but I can also appreciate a good thriller. I'm a big movie fan... to the point that I installed a 14' wide screen and high definition projector in my loft.
I found myself really getting into the Left Behind series but I like all sorts of movies as long as they don't involve the occult.

Yes please... music is good. Gansta rap makes me want to fill my ears with cement, twangy country music makes me want to date my cousins (thankfully they are married and I have morals!), and cheesy 80's one hit wonders make me sing like a moron in the car. Sorry. :-)
Where I live, it is a bit challenging to get exposed to the latest and greatist Christian groups. I do listen to lots of streaming music on the internet (i.e. Shoutcast.com and others)

Self employed web/IT guy... I have been doing this in some capacity since 1995. Former webmaster for the Audi Club of North America (and '99 Member of the Year) as well as the founder of an international Audi owners organization for sport models of Audi automobiles. I've also done sites for the New York to Paris race as well as for tuning firms of Audi, Ferrari, and Subaru model cars. On the side I buy and sell high line European cars through a dealership in the Minneapolis area. (Yeah, a bit of a car geek although I understand where they fit into life priority-wise.) Cars for me are just a hobby... it isn't about image/status/ego etc. I have always found them interesting from a mechanical and engineering standpoint. Oddly enough I have even used cars to help debunk the evolution theory and show others that God MUST exist because there is NO WAY we could have this intelligence (or emotions) if He did not give it to us. Kirk Cameron on Way of the Master uses the 10 commandments and some basic logic to get through to people. I can sometimes do the same thing but use an interest in cars to get me in the door. Given the complexity of engineering required to produce even basic cars, I explain that you don't get to this point from being a single cell organism... our comprehension of engineering not to mention the styling of some of the 'super cars' in the world are so far beyond what could be achieved if we had not been given these gifts and capabilities from God. You've heard that God is in the details? Just look what God's creation is capable of. I've had some luck getting through to some of the younger car guys using this as my doorway.
More to come... perhaps even soon? ;-)

Sunny blue skies for a summer afternoon bike ride around the lake while the 90 degree blast furnace summer heat hits me in the face while I inhale a variety of insects in a hopeless attempt to emulate a Tour De France champion. I also like dehydration and being chased by rabid farm dogs who were last fed sometime in the late eighties. The icing on the cake that is my summer cycling day is having the pleasure of cycling downwind of a hog confinement farm... ahhhh smell that crisp clear air and try not to throw up in the ditch or worse yet, on your bike. Yes, I am clearly crazy from the heat.
In case you haven't noticed, I have a sense of humor and a desire to suffer a bit while cycling. But seriously, if Jesus could suffer and die on a cross then a few bugs and pig odors are the least of my worries right? ;-)
I like dogs (when they aren't chasing me on a bike). I like ice cold water after a bike ride (provided it doesn't cause brain frost). I like the air I breath (as long as it doesn't smell like pig .....) I like random thoughts that come out of the blue and frighten my friends to the point that they question my sanity (can you keep up?) Granted, my friends are easy to mess with, so can you REALLY blame me? ;-)

Chips, dips, chains, whips. Salt in open wounds and road rash also rank high on my list of dislikes.
I also dislike the way the media seems to portray Christians. Why is it they always seem to find the high as a kite guy wearing nothing more than a cardboard box in Times Square proclaiming the end was near and to turn or burn. If it isn't that it is the groups that go around screaming God hates fags or something which gets the masses thinking we're all hateful judgemental types. We hate sin, and hey, we also sin ourselves so we know it when we see it! It is NOT about hate but about throwing a line to a drowning man/woman.
I also don't like it when I whine or complain too much about things so I'll yank my own fingers away from the keyboa....
