My most prominent hobbies are expressing myself through art (my art site: MyriadArtworks.com) and caring for my horses. The first oil painting I did:

By the grace of God alone, I am usually in a daily Bible Study. The most life changing study I've done was "Breaking Free" by Beth Moore.

"The Chronicles Of Narnia" DEEPLY touched and encouraged me, as did "The Green Mile".

"It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother to fall. So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the man who does not condemn himself by what he approves." (Romans 14:21,22)
"You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. (Galatians 5:13)

From a small town in Texas called Bridgeport, I began modeling while in High School and became extremely wild; so it's safe to say that I found out "THE HARD WAY" what's really important in life. Yep, I spun my tires into my late 20's and smoked everything but the kitchen sink! Today I'm EXTREMELY grateful that it's never too late to change. Soon after surrendering my life to Christ in 1995, I finally faced my fears to settle down and marry my fiance' of four years. By the Grace of God, Jeremy and I are still happily married and are now raising our two incredibly bright and energetic children (10 & 12) in the Godly home I craved as a child. I have been blessed with the privilege of breaking, through Christ's power, the cycles that have held my ancestors in bondage for several generations. Today I am blessed to run a small Graphic Design business called Myriad Artworks.

I admire people who have the courage and sensitivity to speak the truth in love when led, which gives all relationships an opportunity to grow. I appreciate having friends who are going forward in their spiritual walk, but are still humble enough to admit when they mess up. I like to keep a healthy balance in life. I LOVE watching people grow and change in Christ and having the privilege of joining God in that.

Denial/dishonesty is my biggest pet peeve these days, because I want everyone to experience the freedom that I KNOW truth brings. I'm deeply troubled when others are not completely forthright, because they fear rejection; this is something I am working on in my marriage and family relationships. I also dislike intentional manipulation. Judgement and criticism annoy me a great deal.
