People will tell you that God specializes in turning bad things into good ones, that He will heal you when the time is right. In the meantime, they will assure you that God will help you through your troubles, and that you will learn from these experiences that God can indeed be trusted.

Psalms 97:10-12 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Psa 34:8  O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Live by grace, trust in Him

Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. (Psa 37:3-5)

Those who live by grace trust in God to work in their lives.
