    Helam is a place where David defeated the Syrians. The Syrians were under the command of Shobach who was the commander of Hadadezer's army. No one knows the exact location. It is sure that David won a great victory there. You see after winning, all of the Kings who were servants of Hadadezer made peace with Israel and served them.
