Sometimes we take our freedoms for granted and we don't look at the troubles of others or consider people from the past and their efforts.  This is one reason I'm also a genealogist and study my own ancestry.  One of my favorite ancestors is Reverend Henry Whitfield, (13 gens.) the founder of Guilford, Connecticut. He helped to build the ethnic character of America.
