I like reading and studies of ancient history - the culture of ancient Roman Empire, the history of the Catholic Church, the political struggles at the time of the Protestant Reformation, English history, and Middle Eastern history.
For outdoor stuff, I like to hike (just light hikes, not the mountain climbing kind), I like to go paragliding (and any other kind of flying) - I am obsessed with any flying sport - skydiving, ballooning, parasailing, etc
I like to do volunteer work - neighborhood cleanup and such, through my local church or charity orgs.
I am a software developer, so I like anything computers: I write programs and utilities in Visual C++, VB, and more...

I am currently reading Lee Strobel's "The Case For A Creator". Good stuff! I also read....
The Bible (of course!) - KJV (sometimes NKJV)
the works of CS Lewis (especially the Screwtape Letters)
Any historical fiction - I am on a Middle East kick, after reading Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
Also any ancient Roman history, Renassiance England, Ottoman empire, and much more!

I am a movie fanatic. My latest favorites are "3:10 to Yuma", and the foreign flick "Jerusalem". I like foreign movies (within tasteful limits), drama, and sci-fi.
I like wierd, "thinkers" movies too - I just saw "Fear-X" and thought it was the wierdest movie I've ever encountered - but not bad!

I'm currently enjoying Jazz. Sometimes I like to listen to classical (I used to play classical piano), and I like Christian pop and gospel. I like Switchfoot, and a few of the other good Christian bands out there today...

Good day! I am a personal testimonial to God's mercy and love. I once plummeted to the darkest depths and misery of drug addiction and despair. I was homeless, broke, spiritually empty and alone. I went to prison, and found the Bible, which I had not touched in years. It inspired me to rebuild my broken relationship with the Lord. By calling for His aid, I was whisked up and out of my hopelessness and into a new life, full of love, friendship, camaraderie, happiness, respect, generosity, success, and above all, a rock-solid, ever-enduring, unsinkable faith in the One True God!

I like positive people. I like people that are patient and polite enough to listen to what you are saying, instead of merely waiting for their turn to speak. I like rainy days. I like old movies! I like discovering a really good book. I like exploring the town. I like exploring the desert in Arizona! I like close friends (unfortunately they are hard to come by). I like learning something completely new, spontaneously!

I dislike anger and sarcasm. I dislike narrow-mindedness. I dislike those who judge others unfairly or condescend (judgement is for the Lord). I really dislike hypocrisy, and people who are phony!
