I love to read. I have switched to mostly Christian genre - drama, mystery, some historical fiction, and some what they call horror. I used to read Stephen King, and he's still good, but I really don't like to read about people having sex and swearing all the time. A book can be excellent without all that junk. I also like Bible studies, apologetics, and the like. Anything to strengthen and increase my knowledge of my faith.

I really love scary movies, sappy love stories, and mystery/drama movies. I guess I kinda like them all! I really don't like too many war movies. They are too real and I don't like to think about that bitter reality. My fav is probably "Hope Floats" and I like the Harry Potter movies (he's NOT a REAL wizard/witch!) and other fantasy movies, Christian and secular (to a degree) My daughter and I rent movies all the time because we don't have cable/dish anymore.

I listen almost exclusively to Christian pop, contempory, soft rock. Country used to be my favorite, but when you listen to it lately, it's always about sex, picking up people, partying, drunk driving, cheating on someone...Can't deal anymore. There's too much wrong with the world today to spend time listening to it on the radio.

I am a single mom, church secretary, Sunday School teacher of 3rd graders and live in a small town. My daughter is the light of my life and I try to raise her knowing God and having good morals and Christian principles. I do not date. There's no good guys where I live; I think they all live out of state or something! :) Anyway, I am leaving my marital status up to the Lord. If I'm meant to meet someone and marry, He'll take care of it. I hope!

I like Spring and Fall, gardening, creating a beautiful home out of practically nothing, reading, cooking/baking, walking, salads, Buffalo Wings, Mexican food (especially guacomole!), iced tea, and pizza. I like people who are genuinely polite and kind and understanding of sensitive people like me. I love my family, friends, and church family, and laughing!

I dislike bad drivers with no manners, other people with no manners, mean and selfish people, infidelity, pornography, narrow-minded people, when the word "tolerance" is thrown around helter-skelter, humidity, clutter, and I really can't stand it when someone is a bully, especially to children.
