I love the Lord, He is my best friend since elementary days. I share my deepest thoughts to Him, and when I feel so down I know that His gracious arms lifts me up, comforting me and carries me.

I'm a filipina from spanish/chinese ancestors. I have a regular office work from 8:00am - 5:00pm, 5 days a week. I like being at home during weekends, listening to music, getting online & downloading MP3s, watching TV, & since I dont have a family of my own yet, I enjoy spending time with my 2 y/o nephew & two teenger nieces.

I have always been a shy person, one reason is I'm unconfident with my english speaking ability, I'm reserved at times expressing my ideas or even myself. At this age I really feel it is time to "wake up" and get out of my shell.

Hmm, I think i am getting addicted to YCS, hahah... but It's ok, I really enjoy this site, I love reading all the helpful advices, words of wisdom and encouragement.

Feel free to message me.

TRIVIA: the meaning of my name is "pledge"

HI Len,

I'm on winter break. I'll have off until April. That gives me time to work on my books agailn. We just got internet at home. What a great Christmas present from the Lord. We're doing fine financially. Life is so cheap here. We were in Holland for a month, then you realize just how cheap it is here.

That is great Jonie, I've read that it's not easy to get a Job in Greece...  Are you an english teacher there?

Take care & GOD BLESS

It's another rainy sunday afternoon in the Netherlands. I thought I'd send you a joke, I just felt like a good laugh.

A priest and a pastor from the local churches are standing by the road ...
..., pounding a sign into the ground, that reads:
The End is Near!
Turn Yourself Around Now
Before it's Too Late!
As a car sped past them, the driver yelled, "Leave us alone, you Religious nuts!" From the curve they heard screeching tires and a big splash.
The priest turns to the pastor and asks, "Do you think the sign should just say 'Bridge Out'?"
