Too many to count! Anything Beverly Lewis writes.....she does such a good story-line on Amish folks, and I just love the simple lifestyle and family values they have.
Anything inspirational or comedic! Comedy is such a pleasure!


MOVIES
Comedy is always welcome in my DVD player! Adventure, Suspense, they are pretty good too! About the only type of movie I just can't get into or have an interest in would be horror! ICKY--not for me! VEGGIE TALES! (Gotta love the innocent themes that have Biblical teaching in such a fun setting!) Little House, I just got the first season of that, so I am in Pa, Ma, Laura and Mary heaven! Speaking of heaven, how about the show.. 7th Heaven! A movie that comes instantly to mind is Fried Green Tomatoes another is Driving MS Daisy. I thought the actress Jessica Tandy was such a gentle spirit. Just watched Batteries Not Included that she and her husband were in! What a classy lady!

I am a back-woods southern country girl. (God made us special don't cha know, we are a rare breed!)I am a mixture of gentle and strong, honest and compassionate! I root for the underdog!! I have known both great love and great loss, and learned so much from each! I am by nature a giver, but am learning its ok to take just a tad bit too! I am a loving devoted Mother, whose children though grown make my eyes shine bright!!! So proud God gave them to ME!
I have lived long enough to feel both great joy and great pain. My faith has stood the test of time. I have been on the potters wheel, and have been thru the fire...I am a work in progress...I am a loyal friend, or so I am told, sure try hard to be! Most of all I am God's daughter...my strength comes from him...I am his creation, he is my devotion.

I
am asking all my friends to pray for my childhood friend, Marietta. She
is 43 years old and is hospitalized. She has a huge mass on her uterus.
Her heart is enlarged and the specialist are trying some kind of
medications on her. They have given her 6 months to 1 year to live.
When I learned this, it was like someone slapped me in the face. I
don't want to lose her. I still can't process this information. I feel
numb and and can't believe it.



Please put her on your prayer list.
