I'm an old toy fan. I love any toys from the 1960's. That's when I was a boy, so toys like G. I. Joe, Batman, Johnny West, Green Hornet, Captain Action, Man From UNCLE, anything to do with Spy Toys gets me in a good mood!

It just feels so cool looking at or holding some of those same toys I played with as a child...kinda takes you back to a much happier time in your life!

But the best hobbie of all is having fun sharing the Good News with people! I LOVE TALKING ABOUT JESUS AND THE WORD TO ANYBODY WHO WILL LISTEN! If you don't have that same feeling, it's only because Satan is rippin' you off from the joy of your salvation! Take a little step of faith and tell someone about the Answer to all their questions today!

Of course, my favorite books are the ones located in the Holy Bible! All 66 are fantastic, but I think my personal favorite right now is the book of Ecclesiastes...that is a powerful book that every Christian needs to study hard! It's has a wake up call for young people and a total wake up call for adults! Come on...sit down and read it!

The Bible will keep you from sin or sin will come you from the Bible!!

I love any book that deals with revival, prophecy, repentance, holiness, and soulwinning!

I want to read a book that challenges my walk with the Lord and makes me get on my face and desire more of His Word! Some of my favorite authors on revival are Tozer, Ravenhill, Finney, Ray Comfort, etc.

I enjoy movies that help me learn more about the Word of God!

Sadly, Hollywood and Jesus don't seem to blend together very well! It seems to me that movies have brought about a lot of junk into our entertainment...or should I say inner-taintment! Ha!

Actually, I really do feel very strong about the filth that Hollywood continues to puke out...it's scary to hear other Christians say, "Well, I will admit it DID have a lot of cussing, and I will admit that it DID have some unnecessary violence, and yeah, that sex scene was uncalled for, and there was a bit too much nudity...BUT IT HAD A GREAT STORY TO IT!"...duh!!!!!

What a shame for us to talk like that!

Nevertheless, some of my favorite movies are Jesus of Nazareth, Time Changers, The Passion of the Christ, AD, Jeremiah, etc.

I'm a big fan of Jesus Music! (That is what it was called during the Jesus Revolution when I became a Christian!) I love music that exalts JESUS! I don't have time for Christian music that won't talk about Christ Jesus!

I think that by definition, Christian music should promote CHRIST!

The style doesn't really matter to me, just as long as the message comes out loud and clear! And the message is JESUS CHRIST and Him crucified!

Personally, I enjoy all styles of music from Rock to Classical, Dance to Blue Grass, Rap to Funk, just as long as it has plenty of good things to say about my Lord JESUS and is dripping wet with the water of the Word!

Psalms 33:3 says it all! (Look it up!)

It's funny, cause MY KIDS often say, "Dad, could you please turn down the music...it's too loud!" Ha...Ha...I love it!

My name is John...and that's important, cause no church is complete without a John! (Think about it...) Very important!

All joking aside, I really am a JESUS loving man! I am not ashamed of the name of JESUS! I'd love to spend the rest of my life just talking about Him and getting closer to Him!

I came to know the Lord through the outreach of a little church in McHenry, Ill. One Saturday, a man came to our house and ask if I would like to ride the Sunday School bus to church the next day. I said "sure"...and every Sunday he would come back and pick me up. Finally on May 4, 1969 I became a follower of Jesus! Shortly after that, I felt I should devote my life to preach the Gospel. I don't like struggling with being so fat!

I don't like doing nothing!

I don't like when people get mad at me...but it seems like it happens all the time!

I don't like fake Christians who ruin it for the real ones!

I don't like anything that comes between Jesus and His Church!

I don't like watching our country go the direction it is going!

I don't like seeing the Church compromise with the world!

I don't like "christians" that are posers for Jesus, rather than sincere, humble servants of the Lord God!

I don't like that I seem to don't like more than I like...

Oh yeah...I don't like onions and I don't like spiders!
