Hi!
I am Jordan Rochelle Mathews. I was born into a broken family. Life wasn't too easy going for me. But I delt with it.
I was an only child until my brother Alex was born he is now eight.
I was five when I first went to church. I didn't like it. There were kids there that jugded me. No one wanted to play with me. I don't know why. Maybe it was because I didn't know the bible. Maybe because I wasn't wareing the right clothes I will never know why though. I just remeber people didn't like me.
My parents had the same problem too many people juged us at that church so we never went to another church again. I was turned off by the church.
When I was eight years old I had been beaten by a family memeber. (Not my Mom or Dad or brother.)
Well I was beaten(not like a smack on the bottom but yelling screaming hitting kicking kind) and after that I felt alone, I felt like I had to be on full alert all the time. I was scared. I felt like I was hated by her. My self esteem was gone. I never again though I was beautiful or pretty or cute or anything. The next two or three years after that I locked myself in my room when I was alone with her.
My parents never found out. I was too afaird to tell them. I thought she would decide to beat me again if they found out and they told her they knew. I was scared.
Well anyway I came to the age of tweleve we had already moved to Vriginia. We found a church that was having a sports camp. As soon as I heard the wrod church I immeditally thought back to when I was five. I didn't want to go. But my mom made my brother and me go. So we went to Stafford Crossing Communtiy Church.
I came to know Jesus Christ the last day.
Ever since I have been on fire for Jesus Christ. I love going to church!
A little after that I found a program called Life Hurts God Heals. I went there because I was angry with my grandma, I was hurting a lot. Well the program is for people with hurts, habits, and hang ups. I also hurt from trustin issues and codependency (it is when you take other peoples problems and you try to take them and fix them.)
If you see me doing that just say codependent!!!
Also a Life Hurts God Heals I confeced for my first time that fact that I was beaten. I let it out to someone after six years. That night I told my mom and I was bursting into tears I was in tears telling the people in the room.
I went to Centrifuge this year. We learned about forgivness and I forgave my family memeber that beat me. After six years of disliking her I forgave her. I feel soo happy now. the bitterness is gone.
Also at camp (Bekkah you know what I am going to talk about!) I had been crushing this guy for a while. Well he liked me too but he had a girlfriend. I hated being in that situation. One of the nights there durring worship I cried to Jesus and God that he would help me let go of the guy. I was crying so much I though I would fall to my knees and cry more(that was big foir me because I usually suck it up and put on a smile.) I wanted and needed to let him go. After camp I told one of my friends on CSO about it his name is Subin_Hutton check out his profile he's pretty cool. Anyway he helped me to get rid of this guy. Bekkah you helped too! Thanx Bekkah and Subin! :D
Well Recently I took a spitrituall gift class and my gifts are Comforting, Encouraging, Helping, and Evangilising.
Well I think God I'm not sure but I thinkhe wants me to be a christian conusoler. LOL lets see how that works out...Anyway thats me! Jesus Loves You!
