why is the main chat room locked when i try to go on? how do i fix it??

I locked chat because of immature and adolescent behavior. People were using abuse, foul language and almost anything that opposes the word of God, albeit on a Christian website.

This has happened too often so I decided to disable chat from YCS

I have never seen a chat room (christian or otherwise) not degenerate into foul language, fighting, insults... It is just a tendency that takes place nearly everytime. It takes only a few days and some people start to speak crude language. It is best for them to be ended. On the other hand, with forums everything is slowed down and easily controlled and edited.

How true. I no longer venture into chat rooms, but do enjoy coffee hour and church and chow (we go to a restaurant after services) at our local, community church. That's a better alternative.
