HELLO, MY NAME IS EBONY. I AM A 25 YEAR OLD, FULL TIME STUDENT. I AM A HUMAN-SERVICE MAJOR CURRENTLY AND PLAN ON GOING ON FOR A BA IN COUNSELING AND AN MA IN COUNSELING. I LOVE THE LORD AND LOVE BEING INVOLVED IN MY CHURCH AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

I COME FROM A VERY DYSFUNCTIONAL PAST. MY MOTHER DIED AT AGE 16 AND MY FATHER WAS ABUSIVE AND I WAS PLACED IN THE STATE CARE AT AGE 16. CURRENTLY, I LIVE WITH BIPOLAR AND PTSD. I CONSIDER MYSELF A SURVIVOR OF THESE THINGS NOT A VICTIM. I AM AN OVERCOMER, BY THE SIMPLE GRACE OF GOD.

I BELIEVE THAT I HAVE GONE THROUGH ALL THESE THINGS TO WORK IN THE MISSION ARENA IN THE UNITED STATES AND ABROAD. I LOVE TO VOLUNTEER MY TIME HELPING THOSE IN NEED.

MY FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE IS IN PHILLIPIANS 4:13: "I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST THAT STRENGTHENS ME"

I DO BELIEVE THIS BECAUSE WITHOUT THE LORD I WOULD BE DEAD RIGHT NOW. I HAVE BEEN HEALED OF A DRUG- ADDICTION THAT ALMOST TOOK MY LIFE AND I AM IN THE PROCESS OF BEING RESTORED IN OTHER AREAS OF MY LIFE.

I LOVE PEOPLE. I LOVE SERVICE. I LOVE EXHORTING OTHERS. AND I LOVE GOD!
