COME THIRSTY formed in December of 2008 when four professional musicians decided that they wanted to use their musical gifts for God's Kingdom rather than just devote their time working in the secular music scene. From that moment on vocalist Minh Solórzano, drummer Carlos Solórzano, keyboardist Rich Phillips and guitarist Jeff Sanders took all of their talents and experiences and began performing and working on original material as well as their own arrangements of popular praise songs.
Thus far the band has performed at church services, faith based events, retreats as well as prayer services in order to support whatever ministry is in need of a musical act. This includes recovery and teen ministries with congregations of any size. The band was the featured act in June and August of 2009 for KLOVE's Family Fun Night in Tucson, AZ to raving reviews. Members of the band have also been featured in various periodicals and websites including the Arizona Daily Star, tucsoncitizen.com, tucsonchurches.org, the examiner.com, tucsonlifestyle.com as well as hometownsports.org.
A COME THIRSTY performance is more than just a musical presentation. Multiple members of the band have extensive amounts of experience teaching the Word, leading prayers services and offering testimony in regards to the healing power of God. This also includes a member with multiple degrees in Religious Studies that also teaches theology at the high school level. Therefore, COME THIRSTY is a band that is able and willing to use all of their gifts for the Kingdom of God.
