Gardening, now that it's summer; learning more ways to conserve and be "greener"; keeping up on politics; watching comedy shows (have you checked out Chonda Pierce? hilarious!). I like to lap swim, too, but it's hard to find time in the summer.

Oh yeah, I love movies! Anything as long as it's not trashy. Recently I saw "Vantage Point" and that was mind-bending. Favorite movie of the summer: "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl"

I started a page on YCS because I was hoping to check it out and screen it for my daughter and her friends. I'd like them to have privacy to make it safe, but also fun to use and communicate with other faithful people. I'm not sure how to make a page all pretty, but will take a little time someday to do that. I'm happily married and definitely devoted to God first, family next. My vocation is to be a wife and mother; my calling is to serve God. I am a Roman Catholic - no, don't try to "evangelize" me to another Christian denomination, but you could do your homework as to why a devout Catholic would be offended at an offer to "be saved". (Like, I live my life saved, okay? God is here with me - present with me - and through His grace I am saved...) I am a teacher - have taught Religion in Catholic schools and now work in the religious education area of a parish. I love teaching, and know that God gifted me with my sometimes quirky talents so I can do the work He's planned for me. God is SO Good!

Singing, music, (even Christian hip hop - Toby Mac), a good cup of coffee, golfing with my husband and kids, sunshine, cats, bunnies, wildlife, reading, a clean house (but not cleaning it), biking and playing cards.

I am not too crazy about crafts, birds as pets, extreme heat, "power-dieters", overly salty food.
