His Healings 4
Posted On 04/20/2017 20:08:47 by EllieDunn

Well tomorrow will be the last days on the healing's , so Monday, I will be starting on the Miracles of Jesus.

These healing's are listted in othe parts of the new Testament.

Luke 7:11-15:

Jesus went to a city that was called Nain.  His disciples, along with a large crowd of people traveled with him.  When he was approaching the city gate, a dead man was being carried out.  He was the only son, of his mother, who was a widow.  A large crowd of people, from the city were with her.   When Jesus saw her, he felt compassion for her and said, "Don't cry."  He then stepped forward and touched the stretcher that her son was being carried on.  The ones carrying him stood still.  Jesus said, "Young man, get up."  The dead man sat up and started speaking, and Jesus gave him to his mother.

Everyone, who were awestruck, began to praise God.  "A great prophet has appeared among us."  "God has come to help his people."   The news about Jesus spread through Judea and all of the surrounding area.

Luke 13:10-14:

Jesus was teaching in a synagogues on the Sabbath, and a woman there had been disabled by a spirit for eighteen years.  She was bent over and couldn't stand straight.  When he saw her, he called her to him and said, "Woman, you are now set free from your sickness."  He placed his hands on her and she straightened up and praised God.

The leader of the synagogue was angry that Jesus healed on the Sabbath.  He said, "There are six days in which work is permitted.  Come for healing on those days, not on the Sabbath!"

Need I say what Jesus said?  You Hypocrites! "Don't each of you untie your ox, and donkey's leading them from the stalls to get something to drink on  the Sabbath,Then why should this woman, bound by a demon for eighteen years be set free on the Sabbath?"

Luke 14:1-6:

One Sabbath, Jesus went to share a meal in the home of one of the  Pharisees, a leader, and they were watching him closely.  A man suffering from an abnormal swelling of his body was there.  Jesus asked the legal experts and the Pharisees, "Does the Law allow healing on the Sabbath or not?"    They said nothing.  So Jesus took hold of the man, cured him, then let him go.  He said to them, "Suppose your child or ox fell into a ditch on the Sabbath day.  Wouldn't you immediately pull the ox or child out?"  There was still no response.

Luke 17:11-18:

Along the way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.  As he was entering a village, ten men with skin diseases came to him.  Keeping their distance from him, they called out, "Jesus, Master show us mercy!"

When Jesus saw them, he said, "Go, and show yourselves to the priests."  As they left, they were cleansed.  One of them, when he saw that he was healed, he returned and praised God in a loud voice.  He fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked him.  He was a Samaritan.  Jesus said, "Weren't ten cleansed?  Where are the others?  No one returned to praise God other then this foreigner?"  Jesus then said to him, "Get up and go.  Your faith has healed you.

Luke 22:49-51:

We all should remember this so well.  It's part of the story leading our Savior to the crucifixion....

He was praying to the Father to remove "this cup" from me, nevertheless not my will, but your will be done...

And the the warning come, arise let us go, they're coming after me, and then...His arrest is sealed with a kiss, from Judas Iscariot...

And then the soldiers came, and his disciples respond:

They said, "Lord should we fight with our swords?"  Before he can answer one of them struck the high priest's servant and cut off his ear.  Jesus shouted, "Stop!  Don't do this anymore!"  He touched the slave's ear and healed him.

Do you remember what Jesus said to the chief priests, officers of the temple guard, and elders who had come to arrest him?  He said, "Why Have you come with swords and clubs to arrest me, as if I were a thief?  I was with you in the temple, day after day, but you didn't arrest me.  But now this is your time, when the darkness rules."

Will finish this up tomorrow.....
