Today's writing will be base on Matthew 16:1-14:
The Pharisees along with the Sadducee's came, wanting to test (tempt) Jesus, so that he would show them signs from heaven. He said to them, When it is evening, you say, the weather will be fair: because the sky is read. And in the morning, it will be bad weather: because the sky is red and cloudy. You hypocrites, you can discern the face of the sky; but you can not discern the signs of the times? An evil and unfaithful generation seeks after a sign; and there will be no sign given to it, but the sign of the Prophet Jonas. And he left them.
And when his disciples had gotten to the other side, they forgotten to take bread with them. Then Jesus said, Take heed and beware of the yeast (leaven) of the Pharisees and the Sadducee's.
And they discussed this among themselves, saying, It is because we have forgotten to bring bread.
When Jesus perceived what they were discussing, he said to them, O you of Little faith, why are you discussing among yourselves, because you have no bread? Don't you understand yet, nor remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets you filled (took) up? Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets you filled up? How is it that you don't understand that I was not talking about bread, that you should be aware of the yeast of the Pharisees and of the Sadducee's. Then they understood, that he was not warning them of the yeast of the bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducee's.
When Jesus came to the coast of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, Who do the people say I am?
And they said, Some say that you are John the Baptist, some, Elias; and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.
