Do you have trouble listening?  I know I do - though it isn't for reasons others think.  You get excited and want to jump into the discussion because the subject is of great interest to you.  Also you want to hear others' responces to your remarks.  Rein it in.  Have control.  Two ears.  One mouth.  God did it for a reason!!!

But there is somebody to whom to turn a deaf ear.  That person is the liar, the doomsdayer, the complainer, the faithless, the fearful, the arrogant.  Mostly you should tune out the liars.  Get in a fox hole with them and you  will wish you were deaf. Everything is sort of linked to lying.  Where does the doom, or lack of faith, or fear, or arrogance begin?  It begins with the liar.

Listen to the truth... The Word of God...  The Bible.

The Truth will set you free.

And even if others are enslaved by lies, God knows the truth.  Keep on truckin' with Christ.  Great is your reward on earth and heaven!!!
