When your feeling down at times and you feel that your prayers are unanswered were does our faith end?

Your faith should never end. Sometimes when God is silence he is waiting for you to come to him and ask for forgiveness. God cannot dwell in the same place as sin so how do we as Christians expect for him to come into our lives and give us help, or blessings  when we have bathed in sin for so long? When you have given him your all and sacraficed your favorite sin, wether it be lieing, watching a show you shouldn't, your ego, cursing,drinking, fornication(sex before marriage), stealing, or pornography!

It's amazing how many unmarried couples will say "We are praying for a baby and we don't know why we can't concieve" and those who do normally are struggling. That is because your living in sin. Why would God give to you something when you have bathed yourself in sin? True faith will come when you have been down into the depths of sin and finally realized it and begged God to reach down and help you. Your prayers seem unanswered for a while but trust me they are not as you need to realize he is holding your hand but you can't feel it until the sin has melted away. The Bible says to have the faith of a mustard seed and you can move a mountain. It then says in another area that you can move it into a lake. Then another area of the Bible states your faith can uproot a tree! What can you do in your faith without knowing the results. Do we have to see the results or have guarentees ahead of time?

 True faith is believe before it happens and when things get tough we turn to God.
