The question is asked:  Should you water down the word of God to make it more acceptable?  The answer is "NO!".  Prayerfully and lovingly share Jesus' teaching with others.  Having peace with God is not the same as having peace with others.  Some will be at war with you.  Others will accept what you say.  It isn't about us.  It is about Jesus.  Care enough to help others with Christ.
