Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.- Psalm 51:7

As I recall the hyssop plant has medicinal possibilities and is slightly anticeptic.  It is in the mint family along with Oregano and Rosemary..  It is good stuff from the Lords pantry.
