I wrote this poem when I was like 10, I wrote it for a funeral on my mom's side of the family, this was placed in the middle of a basket of flowers, and placed in my mother's uncle's (the family member that died) pocket when he was buried, thought I'd share it with everyone (it doesn't ryhem though :(!):

Like Flowers,

We are planted by the Lord with a seed.

Then we turn to buds.

And bloom.

Then we fade away, but our stems will be planted again in heaven.

I was outside earlier and had left my fence gate open.

And while I was walking around my house I heard tires screech and a dog yelp.

Then I saw a couple cars stopped across the road and my Charlotte standing in the middle of the street. She was frightened and looking both directions ... hoping she wouldn't get hit by another car.
