Real faith is proven in the furnace of affliction; in the time of adversity; you will know that you believed God not because you didn’t go through anything but because you went through something and maintained your integrity while you persevered

    Helam is a place where David defeated the Syrians. The Syrians were under the command of Shobach who was the commander of Hadadezer's army. No one knows the exact location. It is sure that David won a great victory there. You see after winning, all of the Kings who were servants of Hadadezer made peace with Israel and served them.
