Many of us first discovered apologetics in the writing of C.S. Lewis. He was a terrific apologist and he took the truth of Christianity to the marketplace. His work has tremendous strengths and some weaknesses and (like all the writings of men) must be employed when it is consistent with scripture. Thank God that He gave the church gifted scholars like Lewis.
