Blog Entry: This is the last of the Bible Study, and yet, it's not.  You will see what I mean at the end. A re you a Backslidden Christian?  Are you a Backslider Christian?  Repent from your ways and turn back to God-God is eager to welcome you back. 2 Chronicles 7:14:  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, an will heal their land. Hosea 14:4:  I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him. Psalm 147:11:  The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy. Psalm 103:12 (ESV): "as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us." Micah 7:19:  "Once again you will have compassion on us.  You will trample our sins under your feet an throw them into the depths of the ocean!" Psalm 85:8 (ESV): "Let me hear what God the Lord will speak, for he will speak peace to his people to his saints; but let them not turn back to folly." Finding God Again: A Prayer to God by King David after he sinned against God: Psalm 51:1-13, 17 (ESV):  Create in me a Clean heart, O God "Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love, according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!  For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you may be justified in your words and blameless in your judgment.  Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and sin did my mother conceive me.  Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart.  Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean, wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.  Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones that you have broken rejoice.  Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Creat in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.  Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me.  Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.  Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you.  The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. Amen ! Just wanted to let you know, this was basically King James Verse, unless otherwise noted.
