Title: Hum Once Saved Always Saved?
Tags: ABOUT THE LORD
Blog Entry: Are you one of those who think..."Once Saved, Always Saved?" Well...Let's see what the Bible Says: Hebrews 10:26-27 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sin is left, (27) but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. It says differently, don't you think? So, if you continue to sin, after you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, and don't think it's wrong, because Jesus died for your sin, you'd better think again.... Once you've accepted Jesus as your Savior, then the will to sin, should be gone..... If you are new in Christ Jesus, Jesus has started a good work in you, and He is able to complete it.... God removes temptation from your will.... 1 Corinthians 10:13 says: No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful, He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.... We should listen to our God, do His Will, but....We are not perfect....Only Jesus is perfect..... And when we are tempted, and fall to that temptation, then God, our True Father will discipline us.... Hebrews 12:4-11 says: In your struggle against sin, yo have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. (5) And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons: My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you, (6) because the Lord disciplines those He loves, and He punishes everyone he accepts as a son. (7) Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? (8) If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. (9) Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! (10) Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in His Holiness. (11) No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it..... If you are one who thinks once saved always saved....Maybe it's time for you to ask Jesus to renew a right Spirit with in you.... God Bless!!
