Blog Entry: This might sound a little odd. But I think my dog loves me like God loves me. Unconditionally. I irritate my dog when I don't feed him on time and he gives me his 'hey you forgot me' bark. I dissappoint my dog when I stop petting him before hes ready for me to stop. And I frustrate my dog when I tell him to do something and he doesn't do it fast enough or I change my mind on him and he just stands there with his tongue hanging out, head cocked to the side, with his 'have you lost your mind?' look on his face. But at the end of the day, he still loves me. Loves me so much he forgets about my bad memory, lack of manners and ill temper. My dog LOVES to love me. He enjoys it, I can see it on his face when hes lying on my lap so very content, I actually can see contentment in his eyes and my dog smiles!! And those happy noises, how can those be mistaken for anything but complete and total love?? God loves us like that. We hurt, frustrate, disobey and ignore Him. But He still loves us. And He does it with joy and forgiveness! He LOVES to love us! And that love is amazing! Its beautiful! Its agape love!! When I am praying, when I am thinking and focusing on God in my life, I can 'feel' Him loving me, feel His joy and contentment that I am listening and obeying Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your Precious Son Christ Jesus, thank You for loving me so very much!! And thank You for Buster!! In Jesus Name, Amen
