I would like to meet other interesting people with "antiqueitis" like me. I prefer anything old to money. I become trance-like in the vicinity of anything located in attics, flea markets, barns, auctions and antique shops.
We could chat about what we collect and expand our views of the antiques world.
I am interested in antiques and collectibles. I started with bottle collecting when I was a child. I collect pontil era bottles and rare fruit jars, and have a few threadless insulators.
I like pre civil war items of all types and primitives from that era.(circa 1790 - 1860)
The more modern things I collect are advertising signs from the 1920's through the 1950's and milk or motor oil bottles from that same era.
Some of my other interests include outdoor activities like fishing, camping, hiking, boating, cloud and/or star watching,or just about anything I can do with my kids or dog outside.

Birthplace was Geauga County ln Northeastern Ohio and I still live there today.
Eye color is blue, but they change shades with mood.
Hair color is a blonde, brown, reddish grey mix.
My heritage is mostly English with a splash of Native American. My Dad's side of the family used to rule England around the 12th century, and my Mom's side of the family were most likely Druids and used to own Stonehenge. My Native American heritage also comes from my Mom's side, her great great grandmother was full blood Cherokee.
That makes me a half blood druish prince!
Best physical feature I'm told are my dimples.
Favorite food is any kind of seafood.
I drink tea, and Earl Grey is my favorite.
I like dark chocolate.
I used to live in the middle of a graveyard.
Don't smoke, I'm allergic.
I drink very little, but when I do I like Canadian whiskey.
I used to sing, write songs,
short stories and poetry, and have recently have tried writing again.
I like thunderstorms and rain.
I like antique malls, stores, auctions, shows, and anywhere else they might be selling antiques, or hopefully giving them away.
I like watching boats pass by.
I like woodworking and re-finishing antiques.
I have an antique tractor that I show.
I don't mind being around people, but I prefer quiet solitude.
I really like old and/or fast cars, and would like to own one of each someday.
I wish I had more time to enjoy the things I enjoy, but spend most of my time at work.
